At Logisfashion we are preparing for the opening of our third logistics centre in Ontígola (Toledo), with the aim of expanding our operational capacity and having a multi-client facility, which responds to the increase in omnichannel activity.
Located in the Ontígola Logistics park, and adjacent to our other centres in this industrial estate, the facility has an enclosure of 35,862 square metres and an operating area of 24,500 square metres, divided into three modules, as well as a total of 30 loading and unloading docks.
It has an infrastructure that offers adaptability, environmental features such as efficient lighting systems or reuse of rainwater on deck and a key location in the epicentre of transport and logistics operations that connects the Community of Madrid with the most important capitals and ports of the Iberian Peninsula. All this will allow us to improve logistics and operational efficiency, as well as greater capacity for processing, preparation and storage of merchandise.
Likewise, and relying on our pillars of innovation and operational excellence, we will implement the latest technologies and logistics solutions in this new centre, such as advanced management systems and automated processes to guarantee agile, precise and high-performance logistics.
“With the upcoming opening of our new logistics centre in Ontígola, we reinforce our commitment to provide a service of the highest quality and offer flexible logistics solutions to the needs of our customers, strengthening our position as specialists in the sector”, explains José Manuel Sinova, our Country Manager in Spain.
Hand in hand with this strategic expansion move, which represents an important milestone of growth, we reinforce our commitment to offer innovative logistics services to our clients and strengthen our presence in the region. Thus, we have a total of three centres in Ontígola, which add up to an operating area of more than 75 thousand square metres. In total, we have 290,500 square metres of operating capacity, distributed among the 7 centres located in Castile La Mancha.
In the words of José Manuel Sinova, “The opening of this new facility represents a significant step in our strategic growth plan. We are confident that this new centre will strengthen our market position, allow us to increase our capacity and propel us into new growth opportunities.”
With this, we continue to expand our global operational capacity with a focus on meeting the changing needs of our clients and staying at the forefront of the logistics industry; at the same time, we continue with our strategic growth plan, with which we have set ourselves the objective of reaching 160 million euros in turnover by the end of 2023.
