Logisfashion opens a fifth center in Toledo and expects record activity with the management of 38 million items.

Logisfashion, a multinational company specializing in logistics for fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, is expanding its operational capacity in Spain with the opening of a new logistics operation in Ontígola (Toledo). Located on a 176,000 m2 plot with a usable area of 80,000 m2, the facility strengthens the company’s presence in the region and is destined to become its largest-volume center among the four it has located in Ontígola, similar in capacity to its fifth center in the Ventalomar Industrial Estate in Toledo.

The new center, called Ontígola IV, located in the Dehesa de la Plata Industrial Estate, has 77 loading and unloading docks, 76,328 m2 of usable storage space, 2,000 m2 of office space, 440 parking spaces, and a photovoltaic self-consumption project, among other facilities.

Operations are scheduled to begin in April of this year, and it is estimated that by 2026 it will reach a managed volume of 38,408,877 units, consolidating its position as the busiest facility in the municipality and one of the most important in the company’s logistics network nationwide.

Ontígola IV is presented as a key driver of Logisfashion’s activity in Spain, not only due to its operational capacity but also for its impact on job creation and the economic development of the area. During periods of normal activity, the center will employ between 600 and 700 people, while during peak demand periods, such as sales campaigns or Black Friday, the workforce could reach up to 1,600 workers.

It is expected that, within six months, technological resources such as incoming and picking automation, a garment sorting system based on order using 3D sorting technology with capacity for 1,200 simultaneous orders, and a swarm robotics system for sorting orders from 900 stores will be implemented.

In addition, the center will have 170 packaging stations, 24 stations dedicated to garment customization using embroidery, screen printing, printing, and laser techniques, as well as 16 stations for returns management. This combination of spaces and technologies will ensure agile and flexible operations, adapted to the needs of the multinational’s current and future clients.

The center has been designed to maximize operational efficiency through the integration of advanced technologies and optimized logistics processes. The facility will be air-conditioned year-round, thanks to its insulated envelope, providing additional thermal comfort compared to market standards. In addition to enhancing employee well-being with outdoor rest areas and a sports area, it features an artificial lagoon and native vegetation with low water demands.

In terms of sustainability, it holds accreditations and certifications that meet the requirements of standards such as LEED Gold, WELL Gold, AENOR Environmental Management Certification, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001, among others.

With the opening of this center, in addition to expanding its operational capacity, the Spanish multinational also strengthens its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and economic development. This new facility joins Logisfashion’s global network as a strategic pillar that, with an eye to the future, continues to evolve to respond to the needs of a constantly changing market.
