At Logisfashion, we are in luck, because we have just announced the boost to our international transport and customs management services, as part of our strategy of directly offering our clients end-to-end logistics solutions. A plan that is supported by a strong investment in technology that provides visibility, traceability and control over our operations from end to end, as well as a specialised team with a lot of experience in the sector.
The project has been implemented for a few years in Mexico and, recently, has just been leveraged in Spain and the rest of Latin America to consolidate Logisfashion’s offering as an integral specialist in fashion logistics at an international level.
“The peculiarities of forwarding and customs requirements that vary depending on the country, together with the complex context in which we find ourselves with the shortage of containers, merchandise blockades, the increase in costs, among other things, are making brands focus on specialised logistics partners to defend their interests around the world and advise them at all times”, explains Francisco Ferrer, Forwarding Director at Logisfashion.
With this new step, we are reinforcing our activity and complementing our end-to-end value proposal for the fashion and e-commerce sector, which addresses everything from quality control at the source in Asia, with international transport and customs advice, in addition to our main activities such as logistics for retail and e-commerce, up to distribution to the end customer, including reverse logistics, with the advantage of having a single contact person.
All of this, combining experience and technology, since the model is based on a technological development that will provide visibility throughout the chain using a “control tower”, which will allow us to have all the information for our different business areas and complete traceability by SKU and order.
“The world of fashion and lifestyle is constantly evolving and with e-commerce opening new business models, especially due to its global nature, since you can access new markets without large investments, which opens up new horizons for retailers”, explains Mar Rojo, who is leading the project in Logisfashion.
“This open-mindedness implies that customers require operators with a global presence and services that cover the entire supply chain, from factory to the end customer, having visibility and traceability of the goods at all times”, the director asserts.
In that sense, we continue to invest and commit to new technologies as we have always done since our foundation, since it is one of our pillars.
