A Quality Mark that it grants to the companies that operate in the port showing their commitment to efficiency, with the aim of offering the highest satisfaction to the end customer.
In this way, this certification guarantees the transparency, reliability and safety of all the operations carried out in the Port of Barcelona, being committed to the most rigorous standards and marking a more collaborative and competitive path. Not surprisingly, companies that have this certification offer between 10 and 12% more efficiency in their processes, which has a positive impact on the customer experience.
• What does this Quality Mark guarantee?
To be precise, one of the maxims of the Efficiency Network is that the agreed deadlines for delivery and collection of the goods are met and that their integrity is guaranteed. Therefore, it also speeds up deadlines in customs clearance, as well as border inspection services, without forgetting the reliability in boarding in a planned stopover, in the BL notification and, ultimately, in the information and transparency of all operations. If any company with this certification fails to comply with any of the commitments marked by this Quality Mark, those affected can lodge a claim to Customer Service (SAC), which will carry out an analysis to determine if this breach has been carried out and, if so, compensate those affected. To prevent this from happening, companies with this certification are periodically audited by the Port of Barcelona, which guarantees their correct compliance.
IATA, a high-flying certification
