START-UP SITUATION :
GANT, originally from the United States, is known for having shaped “preppy fashion” for more than seven decades. The firm, which is part of the brand portfolio of the Swiss group MF Brand (The Kooples, Lacoste…), operates from its headquarters in Stockholm and is present in 70 markets. In Spain, it has been present since the nineties through a distributor, but in 2020 it decided to directly manage its operations in our country, in which it has a network of its own stores, in addition to points of sale in El Corte Inglés.
Gant Iberia has stated that “the Spanish market is strategically significant for Gant and fits with the ambition of increasing the brand’s presence throughout Europe”. We were in search of a logistics partner that was aligned to the new management model of the brand, and which can support us in an integral way throughout our entire growth”.
SOLUTION:
At Logisfashion, we have managed the operations of the distributor for several years, but nowadays the challenge is to restructure the management of their Supply Chain to offer the maximum optimisation of processes with state-of-the-art technological tools.
Firstly, by managing its retail logistics in both Spain and Portugal, with the aim of achieving its main logistics objectives, which include raising its productivity and reaching different markets from a strategic hub in western Europe.
Afterwards, management of orders placed via the online channel was implemented. From Cabanillas, E-commerce fulfilment is undertaken in which, once the level and quality of service is guaranteed, a study into operations has been performed, in order to be able to transfer to our clients all the efficiencies identified through our processes of continuous improvement and operational excellence.”
