Green light for the summer sales campaign. And at Logisfashion we are already prepared to deal with a volume of more than 4.5 million items, approximately 1.8 million e-commerce orders, for our fashion, footwear, home and child customers. These numbers are an improvement on those from the previous year, due to the foray of new brands that have trusted in us and the general increase in online demand.
With these forecasts, at Logisfashion we have been preparing our resources for weeks to face this new peak in demand, with the training of about 1,200 employees who will increase the workforce in 6 of our 8 centres in Spain.
E-commerce logistics, as well as services related to return management and last mile distribution, have become the main drivers of Logisfashion’s business. In fact, it is in the worst months of confinement that we have used our expertise and responsiveness to successfully serve our clients.
Diego Larrañaga, Director of Logisfashion Europe, assures us that “we have designed the operation down to the millimeter, to respond to these peaks in demand. With the experience of recent years, we know that we must constantly add value with new technologies and solutions that bring more and more agility to processes and our recognized operational capacity. This forces us to evolve very quickly if we want to respond to the high demands of the market”.
The sales season will mean an initial return to normality for traditional trade and the logistics value chain will once again play a decisive role in the upcoming months. As a result, we have opted for technological investment and the training of our staff as the main strategies to consolidate ourselves as a key operator for our clients, the main national and international fashion brands.
